I primarily take pictures to honor and celebrate the natural beauty and wonders of this planet, including the creatures we share her with.
I am an avid hiker and adventurer, so since landing on this amazing mid-pacific lava rock I have been exploring its diverse landscapes and creating a growing collection of exciting photographs that I love to share with everyone.
The exotic diversity of the Big Island’s ecology, history and culture leads to endless photographic possibilities; it is a place of great passion and inspiration.
Besides still photography I have launched headfirst in videography and love it! I am focusing my abilities (and lenses) on the same subject matter but bring the scenes alive. I am completing my first serious feature documentary and starting on others.
I am sixty-two; born and raised in Seattle, Washington and moved to the Big Island in 1998.
