I have loved drawing, painting and making things since I was a little girl. Nature and wildlife has been an infinite source of fascination and inspiration throughout my life. I have always loved the ocean and dreamed of being an artist and living by the sea as I was growing up in the deserts of Arizona.
After many years living amongst the redwoods of the Northern California coast, I moved to the magical Big Island in 1999 and before long I got my scuba diving certification. Scuba diving and swimming in the clear waters of the Kona coast opened my eyes to the wonderful coral reefs and abundant marine life.
My fine art, illustration and ceramic sculpture is all about marine life, wildlife, nature, marine and wildlife conservation and education. I am committed to raising awareness of the wonders of animals and nature and the urgent need for conservation.
